The Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw University will award five $300 prizes for the best essays written by high school students on an assigned topic. Students do not have to attend Depauw University and all high school students are eligible to enter.
This year's prompt is Does the United States have a moral responsibility to intervene in countries were human rights violations are occurring? Essays should be between 500 and 2000 words.
