Senior Information Handout

Hello Seniors,

Graduation is upon us and we have lots of events planned for you.  You just received your senior survey email but the attachment below tells you all the things you need to know about all our events. Please read thoroughly and save/print a copy.

Senior Surveys

Seniors,

In order to receive your diploma, you must fill out both senior surveys. In total, it should take you know more than 5-10 minutes to complete. If they are not filled out on "diploma pick up day" your diploma will be withheld.

If thats not enough motivation to fill them out, we are offering incentives to make sure you get them done ASAP! First, we will send your senior transcript to your college of choice for free upon graduation (I bet a lot of your schools are already sending you reminder emails to do this...by filling out your surveys, you can check this item off your to do list, and we will do it automatically for you). Second, if you fill it out by May 15th, your name will be entered in to a raffle to win a prize. A prize you ask? Yes, we have everything you could possibly need for your dorm room. We have a microwave, a mini fridge, a Keurig Mini, 2 Amazon Fire tablets, 2 Roku Streaming sticks and 2 Amazon Fire TV sticks with Alexa voice control! All you have to do is fill out the 2 surveys below:

Girls State Interest Form Due by April 9th at 9am

http://girls-state.org/?p=2222 is the Girls State Website if you want to learn more about the program.

What is Girls State?
Texas Bluebonnet Girls State is a mythical 51st state where, for one week, participants, or “citizens”, organize their own city, county, and state governments. They elect their own officials, learn the duties of the various city, county and state offices. Citizens introduce and debate their own bills in a mock legislature. The program concludes with a visit to the State Capitol building in Austin where the citizens are given an opportunity to sight-see and meet state officials.

This is open to only junior girls. Juniors were emailed the form they need to fill out. The form includes the dates that they would need to be available for them to participate. Westwood can only chose 4 students to send to interviews, so please fill the form out ASAP!
